UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO CONTINUED OVERWHELMING POPULARITY WE ARE STILL AT CAPACITY AND ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW RUNNERS FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS AND THE SIZE OF OUR MEETING SPACE WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO PUT A HOLD ON NUMBERS FOR THE TIME BEING. APOLOGIES TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING BUT IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE NUMEROUS OTHER NIKE RUN CLUBS IN LONDON. Please note that our West London Session is still accepting new members of all levels.
PLEASE SIGN UP TO THE MAILING LIST FOR INFORMATION:AS SOON AS THE SITUATION CHANGES AND WE ARE GIVEN THE GREEN LIGHT TO REOPEN OUR DOORS YOU WILL BE INFORMED. Our West London Session is however still open to new members of all levels.

WE ARE NOT A RUNNING CLUB
If you are looking for a ‘running club’ then RDC is not for you. We are family first and foremost and are committed to building a positive and encouraging community of creative people who enjoy running and the change it can bring.

LEAVE YOUR EGO AT HOME
If your main concern is how fast you can go then please refrain from attending our sessions. There is no place for macho macho within RDC. Those that refuse to abide will be barred from attending. We pride ourselves on our 100 percent accident and incident free record. There is a reason why we are called a crew and not a club, Crew means we look out for each other. You do not get brownie points for getting to the traffic lights first. For those of you unsure as to which group you belong in please read the group descriptions.
Please note: Although we are open to runners of all levels we ask people to be able to run for at least 30 mins before attending.

SESSION TIMES
Doors open at 6.30. We recommend that you arrive by 7pm to allow for changing and bathroom visits. Doors open early to allow people to interact and soak up the vibe.
Housekeeping talk begins at 7.15. If arriving after 7pm please arrive dressed in kit to avoid disturbing this talk.
Run commences at 7.30. Late arrivals will no longer be permitted after 7.15 pm.

COME DRESSED TO RUN!
Although we do have changing facilities, they are limited, so we encourage people to attend dressed and ready to run. There is an area for valuables to be left.

NO YOU: NO FRIEND!
If you invite a friend to Run Dem Crew then you must attend the session with them, and you are responsible for explaining how the crew works with regards to groups, boxes, toilets, etc.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO SOMEONE YOU DO NOT KNOW
For safety and social reasons please ensure that you introduce yourself to everyone in your group. We are not a faceless crew and if anything were to happen to you on a run your fellow group members should be able to tell the emergency authorities your name. They cannot do this if you insist on coming down and keeping yourself to yourself.
If you see someone looking lost then please make them feel at home, a smile and a kind word can go a long way in making someone feel welcome.

GROUP ETIQUETTE
Please respect your group leaders by ensuring you keep within the front and back pacers. More importantly please notify them if you decide to jump up or down a group mid run so we do not waste time looking for you when you go AWOL.
If you insist on running in front of your group leader then please volunteer to lead the group the following week or step up to the back of the next group. Persistent rule breakers will be advised of other running clubs perhaps more suited to them.

MUSIC
For safety and social reasons, the use of MP3 players and headphones is discouraged.

GO HARD OR GO HOME
Our motto is ‘Go Hard or Go Home’. We are goal focused and committed to being the best we can be. Therefore we do expect and encourage our members to commit to regular training and attendance. We are heavily oversubscribed so it’s unfair to those on our waiting list if you take a place and then attend only once in a blue moon.

DON’T TOUCH WHAT YOU CAN’T AFFORD
Under no circumstances must you disturb the 1948 shop displays. Yes we like to touch the sneakers and garms, but as 1948 is a retail space by day, it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that come Wednesday morning the stock is in a presentable state to be sold to the public.

LEAVE NO TRACE
Please do your part to put boxes and seats away at the end of the session. This means you are also responsible for ensuring your water bottle/sports drink/socks/tissues/panties/sports bra/ etc are removed by your good self. We do not have a RDC janitor and our inbox is fed up with complaints from Nike HQ about the state of 1948 post session.

GIVE BACK
There are thousands of running clubs you could run with, but you have chosen to run with us. Run Dem Crew is not a sponge. Please replace what you take from the project. In other words, please give back however you can be it through time, energy or however else you see fit. This will ensure the continued success of the the family we call Run Dem Crew.
